Since Wapo was founded in 1988, the company has manufactured its products at the finest facilities using cutting edge technology and equipment to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled to satisfaction on time, every time.
A new office building and factory area were built especially for Wapo in 2019 to further align the company's production goals with that of its ISO quality management systems, and once again the company has upgraded its equipment to retain its best-in-class reputation.
Brand new Japanese production machinery is now at work at Wapo's manufacturing site, driving flexible pouches, films and bags through production so that they are ready for distribution around the globe.
The new equipment includes:
- Eco-friendly TOTANI pouch manufacturing machinery that can operate at high speed to produce the highest quality pouches with less material.
- A high-performance HAGIHARA slitting machine that runs at speeds of 400 meters per minute.
- And a FUJI KIKAI printing machine, recognized for "accurate and stable printing" thanks to its uncompromising high register synchronization accuracy.
Further technical highlights within Wapo's facility include a TOKYO KEIKI online precision detection camera system, plus FUJI glue sealing equipment.
With its leading technology, Wapo has Taiwan's longest flexible packaging oven that ensures the lowest amount of solvent remains. This is supported by a Korean BOOSUUNG RTO solvent prevention system - the first system of its kind to be installed in Taiwan's central area, guaranteeing pollution-free clean air emissions for workers as well as neighboring communities.
Wapo's manufacturing equipment includes some of the finest options available in the world, that not only ensures a safe and healthy place of work for its workers but a guarantee of the best product output for its customers.
